EvidSail is an independent editorial technology publication operated from Brazil. This policy explains, in factual terms, the information the site may receive when you use it.
If you email us, we receive the address and the contents you choose to send. Ordinary hosting and server infrastructure may also process technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device details, timestamps and requested pages.
There are no user accounts, public login, comments, newsletter or contact form at launch. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data. Please do not include passwords, financial details, government identifiers or other sensitive information in an email.
Email is handled through external email providers. We use messages to answer inquiries, review correction requests and manage relevant editorial communication. We do not promise a fixed retention period because it depends on the mailbox and provider systems involved.
Hosting systems may process technical request and security information needed to deliver the site and investigate failures. The theme preference can be stored locally in your browser as dtf-theme; this is a functional display preference, not an advertising profile.
The initial launch does not intentionally operate advertising or analytics tracking. No analytics platform, newsletter system or tracking service is part of this launch model. If that changes materially, this policy should be reviewed and updated before or alongside activation.
Some pages may contain identifiable affiliate links. A third-party merchant may receive information when you follow a link or make a purchase there. That merchant has its own privacy practices and terms; EvidSail does not process the merchant transaction.
Technical or communication information may be retained only as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, operation, editorial recordkeeping and applicable legal requirements. Specific retention periods may depend on the hosting, email and infrastructure providers used by EvidSail. When production infrastructure changes, this policy should be rechecked against the providers' actual behavior. No online service can promise absolute security, but we do not intentionally collect more personal information than this operating model requires.
Depending on the applicable law and the processing involved, individuals may have rights to request information about processing, access or correction of personal data, and other rights provided by applicable law. Requests concerning EvidSail site operations may be sent to hello@evidsail.com. We will review each request in context and do not promise that every requested action must always be granted.
EvidSail is operated from Brazil and is intended for an international audience. The site is informational and not specifically directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
